sorry, crafter - NOT an artist.

Google tells me these are "neutral colors" - should I believe them?

I would say yes, except for the Pistachio, which is definitely a green and so not a neutral, and the Syrup looks very orange to me, but if it is more brown on your side, then it is neutral.  (Neutrals are the colors that are not part of the color wheel and can not be called shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or violet. ;)  Think browns, greys, black & white.

Page does not have a white background but put it on one so you could see the inking on the edges.

Portrait = 1 photo
Impressionism = cool colors
Sponge painting - stamps/stickers (stamp)
Splatter painting = Ink/watercolor/Mists - (ink, mist)
Warm Colors - choose a sketch (attached)

Whew, I finally got this. These were my answers:

Create a Painting Recipe:

1. Choose a subject for your painting.
C. Still Life = use 3 photos

2. Choose a style for your painting. (You may only use the colors in the color scheme you chose. If you don't know what they are, then ask!)
A. Realism = use warm colors for your layout

3. Choose 2 to 4 techniques for your painting.
B. splatter painting = use chalks, inks, watercolors, or mists ( I used ink, distressing, and inking of the yellow paper)
C. dry-brushing = use ribbon, twine, or fibers ( I used cloth ribbon top and bottom of solid yellow paper)

4. Choose a color scheme. (This will NOT be your color scheme! LOL)
B. cool colors = use the sketch I am posting here (You may have to adjust it to fit the number of photos you chose.)
